The animal group card allows us to monitore the events of your herd, such as: feeding consumption, mortality, ins and outs such as transfers and or sales among others. Also allows you to analyse the principal indexes to follow the development, helping making the best decisions for you farm.

Indicates that the index in above the goal (good)

Indicates the index in bellow the goal (need improvement)

Attention: In order to find the goals, access the settings on: Farm > Settings > Management > Nursery / finishing

For further details regarding settings the farm's goals click here: Farm Goals and Validations

  • Pigs in

Reports the amount of piglets that entered the group.

For nursery stage the entries are: Weaning, purchase, transfer between groups

For finishing stage the entries are: stage transfer, purchase, transfer between groups

  • Average entry age

Reports the weighted average age of the animals that entered the group

  • Average weight in

Reports the average weight of the animals that entered the group

  • Total feed intake

Reports the total feeding consumption of the group

  • Feed intake per pig

Reports the total feeding consumption per animal

  • FCR (Feed conversion Ratio)

The FCR shows how many KG of feed the animal needs to consume to produce one KG of meet. The variation in the index can be derived from the effect of a set of factors such as the composition and availability of the feed, the genetics of the animal, the health factors, among others.

  • Adj. FCR (Adjusted Feed conversion Ratio)

As in FCR, this card shows how many KG of feed the animal needs to consume to produce one KG of meet, having an adjustment factor in all groups in relation to the output weight, in order to compare them. Example:

This info allows you to evaluate what would be the feed conversion of the group if the output weight was different.

  • Weight gain (Pig)

Reports the weight gain per piglet in the herd. This index also considers the average stock of animals in the group.

Available for closed groups.

  • ADG (Average Daily Gain)

It is an index that displays the daily weight gain of the piglets in the herd.

For the calculation, it is considered the average weight of exit per piglet, the average weight of entrance per piglet and the days of accommodation that the group was place.

Available only for closed groups.

  • Mortality

Reports the percentage of piglets death in the group

  • Days in stage

Reports the weighted average of the days the piglets were in the stage

  • Pigs out

Sum of the number of animals that left the group.

(Deaths are not counted).

  • Average exit age

Reports the weighted average age of the animals when leaving the group in a given period. In this index, deaths should not be counted.

  • Average exit weight

Reports the average output weight of piglets in a batch. In this index, deaths should not be counted.

For the nursery stage the the exits are: sale (normal and fallout pigs), transfer between groups, transfer between stage, internal replacement and other exits (donation and self-consumption).

For the termination stage the exits are: sale (normal and fallout pigs), transfer between groups, internal replacement and other exits (donation and self-consumption).

  • Projected weight (exit)

Reports the estimated weight that the piglet will have at a certain age, based on the growth chart. The estimated age for comparison can be selected in the day bar at the bottom.

  • PEI (Productive Efficiency index)

This index measures the productive efficiency achieved during the creation of a group of piglets

Available only for closed lots.
