Tare is the weight of the container that is used to weigh some product.
In poultry production it is common the use of bags or boxes for weighing birds. However, these containers have a weight, which ends up interfering in the average weight of the birds when they are not discounted. Therefore, setting the tare for your poultry weighing container can be interesting.
Agriness P4 allows you to include the scale tare weight in your application, to automatically discounts it for you.
Therefore, if you want to discount the weight of your bag/ box from your weighing, weigh them and enter the weight value obtained in the "Tare" field. In this way, the application will discount the weight of the box/ bag used, generating a more correct and reliable weight average of the birds.
