IMPORTANT: If I choose to disable Management, what happens to the Sows and the Groups they were part of?
This is an important question. When you disable Group Management, the system keeps your history:
- Existing Groups: The groups that have already been created are not deleted. They remain in the system for you to consult and view reports. You will not lose any old data.
- Sows: The sows that were in these groups will no longer be part of any group for future entries. In other words, they will all lose the link to the previous groups. Their history is also kept. The only change is that, for new management actions (like matings, farrowings, etc.), the Group field will no longer appear.
However, if you decide you no longer want to use this feature, the path to disable it is the same as to enable it:
- Go to Farm > Settings > General > Bands and Group.
- In "Do you want to use intervals between managements?", select the "No" option.
- At this point, an alert will be displayed:
"Are you sure you no longer want to use group management on the farm? By changing this setting, you will no longer be able to enter and view the farm information by group, and all history will be deleted." - Select the option: "Yes, I'm sure".
