  1. New Analysis on Breeding Herd: BDH

The BDH, and the LPV (which you can check by clicking here) are part of a new parameter of how to evaluate the farm's female herd. These indicators were presented at the last Agriness Best Awards Ceremony.

What do these initials mean?

The BDH analysis means Balancing of departures from the herd, that is, it is the result of the percentage of sows removed (due to death or discard) per cycle in a given period.

The calculation of the percentage per cycle is made based on the total number of females removed in the period.

Where to find it? Management > Breeding Herd > Analysis center > Herd analysis.

Scroll down the page to the title "Distribution of losses by gestation length" and check the BDH tab.

It will be possible to check the goal of each cycle and the value achieved.

When clicking on the square next to the title, a new tab will appear with the details of each cycle.
